3. Taping And Covering Anything That Does Not Need Paint

You will want to cover things like the windows and trim that may be left. Overspray from painting can get on everything, so you will want to cover anything that you do not want to be painted. You can use paper and masking tape to cover these areas before you take your car to the body shop.
